Planning; Research on religion

Within my music video the image of the main characters mother will be depicted as being religious, this will be shown through the use of a cross necklace- therefore meaning the religions researched would need to in some way relate to the church (Catholic or the Church of England). The reason the decision was made as to making this character religious, is due to the fact that I needed to make a justification as to why this character feels so strongly against abortion and I thought religion would be a good way to do this, linking to the fact that religion is not often depicted within classic music videos, I thought that by incorporating it would add a unique element to the narrative. However religion is a sensitive subject and will need to be handled with care, along with thorough research being done in order to prevent any false depictions being shown. Planning- Rough plot

The short film will start with two small children (most likely both female) in a bedroom setting. A woman will enter the bedroom  and asks one of the children 'who are you talking to?' When the shot switches to the view of where the two girls were, there is now only one. The girl replies saying '(other girls name) of corse!' This then fades to some montage shots of the two girls together for example; At a park or in a playground at school. Montage shots begin of significant points in time such as; tooth falling out, learning to ride a bike and the first day of school. For all of these shots the imaginary friend is present and involved somehow within the event. As the montage shots progress, the passing of time is signified -Through the changing of actors/actresses, that are older than he previous. What have you learned from your audience feedback? I found audience feedback to be a consistent element in which I always received, to ensure I was meeting my target audience needs fully, these often included more than just one method. This was not just gained for that of my music video but also both of my ancillary products as well, therefore gaining audience feedback on all areas of my final products. Due to receiving this, it gave me inspiration on how to change and tweak elements within my products to better fit the needs, and make them more appealing the target audience. The participants used within these feedback sessions varied between the ages of 17-34, mainly consisting of females (with the odd male making an appearance), this age range included both my targeted audience age, as well as those outside of this targeted age range.
